An alternate ending for The Shroud that’s somewhat light on plot, but heavy on the fruitcake.
My notes:
A lovely little moment set near the end of The Shroud where Vala welcomes Daniel back home and can’t hide how she’s worried for him. One of my favorite quotes: Vala could light up rooms with that smile. No, that cliché was inadequate — she could light up planets. Whole planets.
After finding Vala and convincing her not to run, Daniel drives them back to Cheyenne Mountain

The imagery this writer creates and the way she describes the nature of Daniel and Vala’s relationship is truly beautiful.
